THOMSON REUTERS PRIZE WHEEL CONTEST AT THE 2014 ACC ANNUAL MEETING

The Thomson Reuters Prize Wheel Contest at the ACC Annual Meeting (the “Contest”) is open to all attendees of the ACC Annual Meeting who are at least 18 years of age. The Contest is sponsored by Thomson Reuters.

Description of the Contest

Each ACC Annual Meeting attendee is eligible toreceive a contest card at the Thomson Reuters booth, #312. Upon arriving at the booth, the attendee must get his or her contest card validated by at least four of the Thomson Reuters stations. Eligible stations include: WestlawNext, Thomson Reuters Concourse, , Serengeti, Practical Law, Business Law and Transactional Solutions, WeComply and Accelus.  Attendees must fill out the contest card with their contact information and validation from four of the booth representatives signifying they have met the above requirements. Completed cards should be put in the drop box located on the reception counter of the Thomson Reuters booth.

If attendees get validation from all Thomson Reuters stations they will be entered in the contest twice. In order to be entered in the contest twice, attendee must inform the booth staff member at the reception counter and that staff member will (1) validate that the attendee has received validation at all Thomson Reuters stations; and (2) Thomson Reuters will then provide an additional contest card for him or her to fill out, at which time  both contest cards can be added to the drop box.

Exclusions

Employees, officers, directors of Thomson Reuters, their respective staff persons and affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies and members of their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in their same households, are ineligible to enter and participate in the contest. If the prizes exceed your corporate gift giving policies, it is your responsibility to not enter the contest.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Void in Puerto Rico. Thomson Reuters reserves the right to discontinue the contest at any time. Participants are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If prize exceeds $600 the recipient will need to send Thomson Reuters a W-9 to report the full value or the prize and accordingly the winner would need to pay taxes on the prize. If the recipient would prefer the prize can be reduced accordingly to $600 and Thomson Reuters will ship the reduced prize. This reduced prize would have no reporting requirements.

Award Fulfillment

Drawings will be held on Wednesday and Thursday  night of the conference at 6:30 pm in the Thomson Reuters booth, #312. Participants must be present to win. If a person’s name is drawn, that person will be asked to spin the wheel. Whatever position the wheel indicator lands on will be deemed that person’s prize. Five people will be chosen Wednesday night and five will be chosen Thursday night for a total of ten winners

All prizes will be awarded by Thomson Reuters and all award decisions will be final. If a prize is forfeited, another winner will be chosen. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash redemption will be made. Prizes will be mailed to winners after the conference.

Official Rules

Eligibility: The Thomson Reuters ACC Annual Meeting Second Chance Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to attendees of the ACC Annual Meeting who are at least 18 years of age who did not win a prize in the Thomson Reuters Prize Wheel Contest at the ACC Annual Meeting (2014). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Thomson Reuters. Employees, officers, directors of Thomson Reuters, their respective staff persons and affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies and members of their immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in their same households, are ineligible to enter and participate in the Sweepstakes.

To Enter: To enter, visit legalsolutions.com/second-chance between November 1, 2014 and November 25, 2014, and complete the online entry form with your contact information, then answer three questions.

If acceptance of a prize violates your corporate gift giving policies, you should not enter or accept a prize.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Thomson Reuters reserves the right to discontinue the Sweepstakes at any time. Participants are bound by these Official Rules.

If the value of the prize exceeds $600, the recipient will need to complete a Form W-9 so that Sponsor can issue a Form 1099 reporting the value of the prize awarded, as required by law.  The winner is solely responsible for payment of taxes on the prize.

Drawing: If there are any prizes that are not awarded in the Thomson Reuters Prize Wheel Contest at the ACC Annual Meeting, Sponsor will award the winners’ choice of one of those prizes in a random drawing from all eligible Second Chance entries received on December 1, 2014.  Odds of winning depend on the number of Prize Wheel prizes that are not awarded and the number of eligible entries received.  The potential winner(s) will be contacted by telephone and may choose one prize from the prizes remaining on the Prize Wheel following the ACC Annual Meeting.

Release: Entrants agree to release and hold the Sponsor and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents harmless against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s) or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes.  Entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules, participant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in New York, New York for the resolution of any and all disputes.
