LDJ Investments Inc. v. Pro Management Consulting Inc.  The plaintiffs hired an immigration consultant to help them obtain permanent green cards under the EB-5 program. According to the complaint in this Los Angeles County case, the consultant recommended that the plaintiffs open a restaurant to assist in the process of getting the cards. The business failed, and the plaintiffs sued for breach of fiduciary duties, fraud in the inducement, and unfair practices. 40 Trials Digest 19th 17, 2016 WL 5812542 (Cal.Super.)

Moba v. Total Transp. Servs. In a Washington King County case, jurors awarded East African truck drivers $448K on plaintiff claims of hostile work environment and retaliation. 2016 WL 4705093 (Wash.Super.)

State of Texas v. Arredondo The State of Texas sued a man and a woman engaged in a deceptive trade practice of selling immigration services they had no authority to provide. 2016 WL 8235208 (Tex.Dist.)
