January 28, 2011

From the Westlaw Reference AttorneysLooking for federal rules governing court-martial proceedings? Check the Federal Military LawManual for CourtsMartial database (FMIL-MCM) on Westlaw.

FMIL-MCM contains the full text of the Manual for Courts-Martial. It also contains materials released by the Executive Office of the President of the United States and published in the Federal Register, including the Rules for Courts-Martial, the Military Rules of Evidence, and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (which includes all punitive articles).

Unlike the Federal Register, FMIL-MCM can be quickly browsed using the Table of Contents service or the index. In addition, sections (e.g., the analysis sections in the appendixes) may contain links to the full text of cited authorities.
