Quick and Easy Access
Once downloaded to an Android device, anyone with a subscription to WestlawNext can access the app. Simply sign in with the same username and password you use for WestlawNext.
The intuitive homepage makes it easy to run a search, browse content, use KeyCite®, access folders, and view recent documents and searches.
Features and Content
The Android app uses the same powerful search engine used on the WestlawNext website and all other WestlawNext platforms. WestSearch incorporates 125 years of West’s proprietary analysis of the law with cutting-edge search technology to deliver the best results, faster – including relevant documents that use phrasing different from your query.
Core WestlawNext Content
You’ll get quick and easy access to all core content types, including: cases, statutes, regulations, secondary sources, administrative decisions, forms, and briefs. WestlawNext’s unsurpassed litigation content includes state and federal Appellate Briefs (more than 2.4 million, covering all 50 states) and Trial Court Documents (more than 5.8 million, covering all 50 states).
You can add notes to documents as you research and view your previous notes. Adding notes to documents makes it easier to find the important parts of your research when you come back to it.
Easily organize your research anywhere, access your Project Folder from the homepage, view documents in your folders, add new documents, and create new folders. Using Folders puts all vital information in one place for quicker access later.
The WestlawNext Android app automatically syncs with the WestlawNext website, mobile site, and the WestlawNext iPad® app. So research started in one place is easily accessed and continued anywhere and is always up to date.
