IE7 users get a speed boost from WestlawNext document parts

December 6, 2010

If you use Internet Explorer 7 to access WestlawNext, you may notice something new: Long documents are now divided into parts for faster loading on your browser.

You can jump directly to a specific part of a document by typing the number the part you wish to view in the text box and pressing Enter or by clicking navigation arrows displayed at the top of the document.

The documents affected by this change depend upon the browser you use. In Internet Explorer 7, documents with more than 15 to 20 pages per part will be divided. In Firefox and other browsers, documents with more than 50 pages per part will be divided.
