A resolution adopted by Highway Authority whereby the use of motorcycles is barred on Garden State Parkway is not unreasonable and does not violate the Fourteenth Amendment in view of evidence that motorcycles caused 40 times their proportionate share of accidents, resulting in 72 times their proportionate share of injuries and 213 times their proportionate share of deaths, and that a motorcycle is not suited to cope adequately with bumper-to-bumper stop-and-go traffic encountered on Parkway during rush hours.
