360 StatesAllegation that the governor received an increased price for a book he had written, sold more books, and was paid a higher fee for refereeing a wrestling match because he was the governor concerned the governor’s private conduct rather than the performance of his official duties, and thus would not if proven constitute “malfeasance” justifying recall of the governor under the statute governing recall of state officers.
