When Jane Doe marries Richard Roe, wife may, but need not, assume name Jane Roe and at same time Mrs. Richard Roe; wife is also free to retain name Jane Doe or to assume other name chosen by her, such as Jane Roe-Doe or Jane Doe-Roe, and husband may retain name Roe or may assume name Doe or some other name, whether or not his wife assumes same name.
