12-20-16Evidence consisting of testimony of defendant that he gave $200 to police officer on November 23rd as an alleged Christmas gift, corroborated by officer, and evidence that officer was almost total stranger to defendant and was potential or probable witness for state in case pending against defendant, and absence of evidence of solicitation by officer, was sufficient to support conviction of bribery and unlawfully attempting to corrupt witness in discharge of his duties as witness and as officer of law, and would not support giving of instruction on entrapment.
