Do you miss grade-school recess? Do you enjoy attaching boards to your feet? Do you believe the best way to commit new knowledge to long-term memory is to carve up a snowy mountainside?
Yes, yes, and yes? Then this CLE opportunity could be perfect for you. This year’s National CLE & Ski event starts on Wednesday, January 5, and lasts until Sunday, January 9, 2011.
Now in its 28th year, this popular CLE event combines a top-notch speakers with world-class skiing and resort accommodations. The early morning and late afternoon CLE schedule allows for plenty of recreation time during daylight hours, and participants can earn as many as 22 CLE credits by attending.
If you plan to go, don’t miss “Legal Research Made Easy with WestlawNext,” a CLE program that follows a fictitious researcher through a typical research session. The one-hour program will focus on some of the common difficulties of legal research, including where to begin, how to obtain relevant resources and identify relevant documents, how to verify and expand a search, and how to manage search results.
Also, be sure to stop by the Westlaw Demo Room to see a 10-minute demo of WestlawNext, find out what’s new from Westlaw, and register to win a $200 gift card.
